Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is a British Canadian actor from Canada. Best known for the part as Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series in which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and four Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the top supporting actor. The same character was played by her in the movies Sex and the City 2008 and Sex and the City 2 2010. Her leading characters include Police Academy Big Trouble in Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. Kim Cattrall will be remembered for her portrayal of Samantha Jones in the HBO sitcom Sex & the City. An acclaimed actress, Cattrall's portrayal of the character of Samantha Jones has been a defining event in her career. The sitcom not only amplified her popularity with the nation's public, but also made her an international star giving her much fame and recognition. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. Her most well-known role was portraying the character La Dolce Vita, a comedy-drama. It won an Oscar as well as the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival in 1960. It was also commercially and critically highly acclaimed. Before beginning her acting profession it was her job to be the Swedish fashion model. She took home in the Miss Sweden competition. After she left Sweden for the US and appeared in numerous films in minor roles, her career took off. She had her first role in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars as the role of a Venusian. She soon won the Golden Globe award in the Most Promising Newcomer category, after being featured in the movie Blood Alley.
